I was a World Class Scholar. No, I am not bragging or giving myself a fancy title! The World Class Scholar program is a scholarship program that awards a $1500 partial scholarship to students who can achieve world class status. And this year they need your help.
Ever wanted to win an amazing trip for two, including transportation, lodging, activities and $500 in Fun Money? Sound like something that is too good to be true? All you have to do is come out Wednesday, February 23 and support the only scholarship program that helps students to study in the field of their choice right here in fabulous Grays Harbor at Grays Harbor College.
The possibility of winning a three night getaway is closer and easier than you think. Tickets to the World Class Scholar Mystery Getaway fund-raiser are available by calling 360-538-4243. Not only will you not be left at home while your friends get the opportunity to have the GH Foundation pick up the tab on a wonderful vacation, but you will be supporting local students who have committed themselves to high scholastic achievement and community service before they even graduate high school
The event gets going at 6 pm on Thursday night, February 23rd and ends around 8:00. Tickets are $50 and you must be 21 to participate and present to win. Hope to see the community come out and support a great local program for great local students!
